Have you loved being able to Pop Out a Teams chat, Teams calendar, or a specific channel post into its own window? Soon you can open a Teams channel in its own window, too!
I use the Teams app a lot – which means I’m moving from one post to another, one channel to another, one chat to another, into my calendar, into Copilot or OneDrive or another Teams app….
For those that I’m working in a lot throughout the day, I often open them in their own Teams window so they don’t close when I switch to doing something else in Teams
Soon you’ll be able to keep your frequently used channels open in their own windows too, as Microsoft roll this new feature out in Oct / Nov 2025 in the Teams desktop app.
